We are proud to announce that the 2018 Springer publication “Novel Foods in the European Union” is now available.
The work is the result of a multidisciplinary team of Italian specialists: Daniele Pisanello, founding partner at Lex Alimentaria and legal expert in the agro-food and prolific author on the Food Law & Policy, and Giorgia Caruso, a microbiology researcher and experienced food technologist.
The e-book provides a comprehensive picture of the current regulatory framework for novel foods. In addition to a detailed overview of the latest 2018 EU Novel Foods Regulation, the work also looks into similar laws and frameworks around the world – both existing and those in the process of legislative development.
In 2014, Mr. Pisanello had already published a first e-book with the German publishing house: Chemistry of foods: EU Legbal and regulatory approaches
